Welcome to the 1st Fareham Scout Group website.
The members of the group make up a tiny number of the 28 million Scouts around the world. Through our Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop we aim to provide fun, exciting activities for children aged 6 to 14 as well as to challenge our members to do their best and to be prepared.

1st Fareham prides itself on being one of the very first scout groups founded in the world, having celebrated its centenary in 2010. It has operated almost continuously throughout the last 102 years and now forms part of an organisation which has over 28 million members in 216 countries and territories.
The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
